To use our interactive table creation tool to analyze our data online, you must first decide from among three major stages of federal criminal case processing (Law Enforcement, Prosecution/Courts, and Incarceration) which stage you are interested in analyzing. Further, within each of these stages, you must select a specific cohort on which to run frequencies and obtain statistics. For example, there are three cohorts pertaining to the Law Enforcement stage: Suspects in investigations initiated, Persons arrested and booked, and Suspects in investigations concluded. You are required to select one of these cohorts. Once you have selected a cohort of interest, choose a year to analyze.
